Dr. Okere N. Iragunima

Surgeon, specialist in Anaesthesiology

Dr. Okere Iragunima is an outstanding medical practitioner who with unquestionable humanism, professionalism, compassion, alongside a spectacular clinical and diagnostic acumen has attained excellence, as opposed to mere competence, in his practice.

He is the Medical Director of Atinu Critical Care Hospital, with experience in medical practice spanning over 30 years.  A Consultant Anaesthetist and an Intensive Care Physician,  he holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from College of Medicine, University of Lagos(1985); D. A. from University of Benin and Fellows of the Post Graduate Medical Commission in Anaesthesia & Intensive Care Medicine from University of Vienna, Austria.

Dr. Uchenna Akujobi

Head, Medical Services Department

Dr. Akujobi (first from the right) is the head of the medical services department. He sets and monitors standards for operational excellence in the hospital, ensuring the delivery of the best quality of patient care at a lower cost. He ensures physicians compliance with best practice guidelines and promotes coordination of patient care throughout the hospital experience and during the post-discharge phase. In so doing, the overall length of stay of patients in the hospital is decreased. Dr. Akujobi translates administrative imperatives to our medical staff and provides a clinical perspective to administrative vision and strategy.

Dr. Obinna Osuji

Optometrist

Dr. Osuji examines, diagnoses, treats, and manages diseases, injuries, and disorders of the visual system, the eye, and associated structures as well as identify related systemic conditions affecting the eye.
